The People of this region comparatively, a Backward area of the Marathwada region for years have felt within themselves urge to spread general awareness among the masses and provide facilities for legal education to the aspirants with the opening of Marathwada Shikshan Prasarak Mandals Law College at Beed in 1979.

The Marathwada Shikshan Prasarak Mandals is celebrating its Golden Jubilee Year-2008-09 to impart the knowledge to the weakest society in era of Globalization. The Mandal has fulfilled a long cherished desire of the people. The mandal formed in the year 1960 runs twelve Arts, Science and Commerce Colleges and 68lh High Schools and thirty-one Junior Colleges beside the Two Law Colleges, B. Ed Colleges and Six English Schools, Engineering, Polytechnic. The college has completed 35 years of its fruitful service in the cause of legal education with many credits on record yet we genuinely feel so little: done so much to do.

Due to rapid growth of industries, Trade, Commerce and electronic technology the complexity of labour, taxation and several other problems has been increased enormously. To overcome these problems The Marathwada shikshan Prasarak Mandal, Bar and the Bench require experts and in order to provide personal to tackle these problems in an efficient manner the college has started P.G.Course i.e. LL.M. it is also proposed to start a P.G. Diploma Course in Taxation Laws (D.T.L.). So to provide self employment opportunities to the young generation in the field of Taxation.
